Steel tube piles - the piles for narrow construction sites

Steel tube piles- the foundation system for limited space

Steel tube piles cover the lower load range of the cast-in-situ concrete piles. Vibrations and noise are reduced to the minimum in this process. If neighbouring constructions are extremely sensitive, pre-drilling or loosening of the subsoil can be carried out.

This pile system is especially suitable in or directly next to buildings, in excavations and for reconstructions.

For foundations with steel tube piles, a tube with a sealed bottom is pulled into the ground. This is done by beating on the harsh concrete or gravel plug with a drop hammer.

The steel tubes are shot into the ground and welded with each other. Extra tube lengths are cut-off after the required depth is reached. Only the steel section can carry the loads.

The tubes are usually concreted at the end of the work. This can be done either by us or by subcontractors. The piles are filled with concrete to the desired height so that the cutting of concrete is avoided.

In specific cases, a concrete pile head is unnecessary as the upper structure can be welded directly with the pile.

The pile can be loaded immediately after placing the tube. There is no accumulation of cuttings - the construction site remains clean. The pile can be covered and driven immediately.

The external load bearing capacity is verified in accordance with DIN 4026 and EN 12699 standards through a certification by the engineering company Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Jagau + Partner or is proved on the basis of empirical values listed in the EA piles.
