1955 On 2nd January, Hinrich König starts the company as König KG
Baugeschäft in Stade and recruits two assistants and a trainee from
the company H. Haar, Bremervörder Str. 46 in Stade, Pile driving on
water with own floating pile driver, barge and pontoons
1957 Acquisition of the Rancke carpentry shop in Schölisch
1961 Acquisition of the hydraulic engineering and pile driving units of
Johs.Off carpentry in Estebrügge
1962 Protection of dike sections after the storm flood
1969 Foundations for high voltage pylons as stepped foundations and
pile foundations
1970 Buildings and foundations for substations in northern Germany/ polder pumping stations and track bridges for water management/ Trench support and excavation safety and dewatering for public and private clients
1974 Company relocates from Bremervörder Str. 46 to the building at Schwingedeich 66 in Stade
1976 Protection of dike sections after the storm flood in 1976
1979 Conversion of the pile drivers from crawler excavator as a supporting device to Fundex drivers
1980 Takeover of carpentry and construction firm H. Köster, Stade
1987 Dr. Jürgen König becomes the Managing Director of König KG GmbH & Co at the 1st of July.
1990 Formation of König GmbH in Werder/Havel/window production and specialised construction
1995 Relocation of the company’s head office to Stader Elbstraße 4
2000 Spin-off of carpentry and reestablishment as König Zimmerei GmbH & Co. KG
2003 Opening of the subsidiary in Oberhausen and the representative office in Vienna, Austria, acquisition of the machinery and activities of Graver Grundbau GmbH, Großefehn
On 29th April 2005, we celebrated our 50th anniversary at our premises in Stade. Our company has grown into a competent enterprise for specialised construction in Germany.
2007 Outsourcing of the locksmith’s shop to König locksmithery GmbH & Co. KG
2009 On 01.02.2009, Mr. Günther Heitmann und Stefan Lewandrowski become the Managing Directors of König GmbH
now a leading company in Germany in the manufacturing of slender cast-in-situ concrete piles with diameters of 30 to 60 cm. Leader in the German market in building foundations with FUNDEX piles (using 9 FUNDEX, 1 Perma, 3 Vermeer drilling machines or pile drivers)

We are a medium-sized building company with business operations in
Stade / Elbe as well as subsidiaries in Werder / Havel in
Oberhausen and a representative office in Austria.
Since our founding in 1955, we have carried out all types of
construction projects with piles, so that, today we can boast of 50
years of experience in specialised construction.
Since 1979, we have been manufacturing slender cast-in-situ concrete piles and have grown into one of the best manufacturers in Germany. We can offer the optimal variety of piles for every type of foundation. We are the market leaders in Germany for vibration-free FUNDEX full displacement bored piles.
