Specialised construction for over half a century and we become more and more sophisticated with each passing year. We are a small family-owned civil engineering company with business operations in Stade/Elbe as well as subsidiaries in Werder/Havel, Oberhausen and a representative office in the Austrian capital, Vienna. In the 50 years of our market presence, we have grown into one of Germany’s leading companies in the field of specialised construction and pile foundations.

Since our founding in 1955, we have carried out all types of construction projects with piles, so that, today we can boast of 50 years of experience in specialised construction. Since 1979, we have been manufacturing slender cast-in-situ concrete piles and have grown into one of the best manufacturers in Germany.

State-of-the-art foundation systems and almost 80 highly-qualified employees guarantee that we offer and implement the optimal variety of pile for every foundation. The König corporate group also includes a carpentry shop and a locksmith’s shop in Stade/Elbe.

Pile foundations are required, if stable subsoil is present only in the deeper soil layers. The structural loads are selectively transferred via piles to the deeper, more stable layers of the soil.

FUNDEX (full displacement bored pile) and VIBREX (cast-in-situ drive piles with and without pile footing) systems are widely used for pile foundations. Both these systems are extremely strong and ensure that no excavation is required and that the groundwater balance is maintained.

The advantages of the PERMA bored pile (uncased cast-in-situ concrete pile) come in handy for pile foundations with limited space and without casing.

Press piles are the alternative if piles need to be installed later on in the subsoil under a building. These can be drilled without noise and even under foundations sensitive to vibrations.

Steel tube piles cover the lower load range of the cast-in-situ concrete drive piles. These are particularly suitable in or directly next to buildings, in excavations and for reconstructions.

Today, the manufacture of excavation pits covers the entire range of specialised constructions to ensure a single-source economical and organisational procedure. While shoring pit walls, procedures like sheet piling, Berlin type pit lining, pile walls or underpinnings in the high-pressure injection process - with or without anchoring - can be combined with the appropriate pile foundation.
